Hi Jeff.

I did check out your site and I am adding restos, your list is very interesting, mostly hole-in-the-walls. :)

Abe has really good Pampango cuisine. Amici has been the family fave Italian resto. Go to JT's for cheap inasal and sidewalk dining ambiance (don't think Derrick will go for this though). Suggest that you try out the Salcedo Market which opens only in Saturdays from 7 am to 3 pm. It's a foodie's paradise. See you guys in Manila.

what a fabulous list! thanks for posting this.

AMICI is definitely a family fave. we always buy stacks and stacks of boxes of their fluffy ensaymadas to take back to the US. We order them in advance and then put them in the freezer/fridge once we get back to LA. The box keeps quite well.

Roti Mum: Can't get enough of them, too! When we came back from the mall with a box of them, my cousins nearly tackled me over to get to them. The aroma filled the room.

There's a new place at Greenbelt 5 called Classic Confections I would like to suggest to you. Their Nono's Chocolate Oblivion Cake is rated one of the ten best desserts by Food Magazine. they also have a fantastic Mocha Sans Rival and Mango torte.

TV and Chef guru Heny Sison also opened up a new cafe and school at the Waltermart across Amici's in Makati. She is famous for her lemon torte. Prices are also good.

BIZU - you must try their desserts - any of their cakes are mind boggling. The macarons are also a must-try.

Red Ribbon - I have an affinity for this bakery as I grew up on it. Their new Dulce de Leche cake is divine. Soft, soft and light, light.

Starbucks - new cake out this February - chocolate caramel cake - this has fast become our favorite to down our cup of java with.
